Here is what we are planning to study during this week:


READING:

This Week: I'm In Charge of Celebrations (not me...that's the title of the story!)

This wonderful tale about nature celebrates the everyday beauty we find in
our environment.  The author uses beautiful descriptive language while telling
about holidays she's made up to honor the animals and environment around
her.  

Reading Test/Sparkle Spelling on Friday

MATHEMATICS:

This Week:  Chapter 29 - Multiplication with double digits

We'll be testing this skill on Wednesday, May 13th and then moving on to
Long Division.

SCIENCE:

This Week:  

We're learning about animals, their needs, and their environments.

SOCIAL STUDIES:

This week:

We'll be continuing with Unit 7 on Ancient Civilizations this week!  This week
we'll be looking at Ancient India and China!
